English sycamore, locally sourced from well managed sustainable woodlands found in a small village in Devon. Sycamore is a beautiful pale, smooth white wood with a strong closed grain, often used for kitchen utensils and furniture making due to its durability and stunning characteristics - making it one of my favourite timbers to work with.
 
Hand turned to create modern curves and finished with a wax blend to create a high shine, this unique piece of sycamore breaks the norm of the typical pale sycamore with vibrant patterns and colours. This small bowl measures 17cm wide, 6cm tall, and 5cm deep.
