Hand turned from English oak, this tea-light holder is perfect for adding a warm cozy feeling around the home during the winter months. A glass insert has been added which will fit most typical tea-light sizes. Considered as one of the finest woods to work with, oak is strong and durable, and boasts an attractive grain. Finished with an ancient Japanese technique called Yakisugi on both the interior and exterior, which involves using a 2000 degree flame to cause instant charring on the surface of the wood, before it is removed with an abrasive to reveal the grain hidden underneath.
