Made from English oak and turned in January 2024, this stuning bottle vase features perfectly straight sides and a unique shape, with a textured tactile surface. Considered as one of the finest woods to work with, oak is strong and durable, and boasts an attractive grain. Perfect with a selection of dried flowers, or with a couple of artistic twigs.
 
Finished with an ancient Japanese technique called Yakisugi, which involves using a 2000 degree flame to cause instant charring on the surface of the wood, before it is removed with an abrasive to reveal the grain hidden underneath.

This vase measures 7.5cm wide and 17.5cm tall, with a cored out hole that is 8cm deep.
