Hand turned extremly thin from English oak, this extra large vessel features a warped shape and sculptural form, with waxed cotton thread stitched repairs. This vessel was wet-turned, where moisutre is still present in the fibres of the wood, and left to dry and warp. Considered as one of the finest woods to work with, oak is strong and durable, and boasts an attractive grain. Perfect as an eye-catching centerpiece or as decor around the home.
