Made from English ash and turned in January 2024, this stuning bottle vase features a modern tapered shape and a textured tactile surface. Ash is a stong, dense wood and has a lovely eye catching grain. Perfect with a selection of dried flowers, or with a couple of artistic twigs.
 
Finished with an ancient Japanese technique called Yakisugi, which involves using a 2000 degree flame to cause instant charring on the surface of the wood, before it is removed with an abrasive to reveal the grain hidden underneath. 
 
Finished with tung oil to enhance the beauty of the wood. Please refer to the ‘Product Care’ section located at the top of the page or on the homepage if you have any concerns about tung oil and nut allergies.
 
This vase measures 8cm wide and 25.5cm tall, with a cored out hole that is 8cm deep.
